The first part of the book comprises an alphabetical list of the scientific and common names of cultivated host plants, with all the fungus parasites recorded on each host listed alphabetically under the scientific name of the host. The second part list the parasites in alphabetical order and gives references to the place where each was first described, as well as to its compilation in Saccardo's Sylloge Fungorum and important British papers, and to well-known synonyms and imperfect stages. This will continue to be a useful reference book for plant pathologist and mycologists.
