Aimed at level one and two students, this work forms part of the "Biomedical Sciences Explained" series, designed to allow students to build up their own personalised textbook on all the topics they require.
CJ Pallister is Series Editor, (MSc FIMLS CBIOL MBIOL PhD, Head of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of the West of England, Bristol, UK). The Biomedical Sciences Explained Series has been designed specifically to meet the needs of today's undergraduates studying biomedical sciences. Each volume in the series covers a key biomedical science topic, enabling the student to select the volumes required for their chosen topics, and build up their own 'personal textbook' in biomedical sciences. Using the BMS Explained Series students can build up their own 'personal textbook' in biomedical sciences, written specifically for them, rather than buying an 'all singing, all dancing' textbook which is too detailed when only studying a topic for one or two modules. Each volume provides a core of knowledge from which the student can then go on to more advanced study in their chosen subject.
Other books in series: 0750632569 Biochemistry (Blackstock) 0750628790 Biological Foundations (Lawes) 0750632542 Biology of Disease (Gilmore) 0750631112 Cellular Pathology (Cook) 0750624574 Haematology (Pallister) 0750632550 Human Genetics (Gardner, Howell, Davies) 0750634138 Immunology (Hannigan) 0750632534 Molecular Genetics (Hancock) 0750634154 Transfusion Science (Overfield, Dawson, Hamer)
