An essential resource for the day-to-day management of patients with liver disease and its complications. Covering conditions commonly seen in practice, such as hepatitis, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, auto-immune disease, and a host of other hepatic problems, this book provides a practical reference for clinicians and trainees involved in the care of patients with diseases of the liver. Each chapter is written by an international expert in the field of hepatology and presents an evidence-based review of the disease or problem with a systematic approach to diagnosis and management. It provides clear illustrations, algorithms, and tables for easy access to key information.
