The psychological effects of traumatic brain injury (TBI) provide a major challenge to rehabilitation services. Dr. Andy Tyerman is Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist and Head of Service for the Community Head Injury Service in Aylesbury. He has also been involved in developing national guidelines and standards including the National Clinical Guidelines on Rehabilitation following Acquired Brain Injury, Inter Agency Guidelines on Vocational Assessment & Rehabilitation after Acquired Brain Injury and the National Service Framework for Long-term (Neurological) Conditions. Dr Nigel King is a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist specialising in head injury, and is currently the Head of Clinical Neuropsychology at the Community Head Injury Service, Aylesbury. He is also a Clinical Tutor on the Oxford University Doctoral Course in Clinical Psychology.
