The author is a Dentist with a Post-Doctorate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology from USP. In addition to her Master's and Doctorate, she holds two Specialist titles. She is currently Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology at the Institute of Science and Technology (UNESP/SJC), with a career dedicated to teaching and research.
