Emphasis has been given to the more common cutaneous problems, but rarer congenital syndromes have been included, where important. There is a chapter on psychological issues, of particular importance in this age group. Every condition discussed is illustrated in colour, with emphasis on the clinical features, key physical signs and possible differential diagnosis. Advice is given on the management of each disorder and a glossary of common dermatological treatments appears at the end.
