Fikresus Amahazion is an educator and research analyst based in East Africa. He received his bachelor’s degree from Saint Bonaventure University (NY, USA), before going on to complete his MA and PhD at Emory University (GA, USA), where he concentrated on globalization, political economy, and development. At Emory University, he also received a Graduate Certificate from the Institute of Human Rights (IHR). Fikresus’ research pursuits include analysis of human rights, political economy, gender, and development, with a particular focus on East Africa.
