Dr Ang is Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Service, Singapore National Eye Center. On the international stage, he serves a Secretary of the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) YO Committee. He is also currently on the Council for the Asia Pacific Ocular Imaging Society and Asia Pacific Artificial Cornea and Keraprosthesis Society. His academic work includes more than 170 peer-reviewed publications focusing on translational research, such as corneal transplantation studying prognostic factors to improve outcomes. He is a regular invited speaker at international conferences recognized by his international awards such as the APAO Achievement Award (2018) and AAO Achievement Award (2019). Dr Ang has several past and present leadership positions, and including the current Clinical Director of the Myopia Center, SNEC. He is the current Treasurer of the Singapore Society of Ophthalmology and Past-Chair of the Singapore Society of Ophthalmology Young Ophthalmology (YO) Chapter. His contributions and achievements have led to him being awarded the Artemis Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology in 2019 and Vision Excellence Award (IAPB) in 2020. Enrico Borrelli, MD, graduated from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University (Milan, Italy) in 2013. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Gabriele D’Annunzio University (Chieti, Italy) and his clinical research fellowship in medical retina and retinal imaging at Doheny Eye Institute, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA (Los Angeles, CA, USA). Currently, he works as retina specialist at San Raffaele Hospital (Milan, Italy). His research interests include image analysis and ocular imaging (retinal and choroidal disorders), age-related macular degeneration (AMD), pachychoroid disease, and diabetic retinopathy. He has performed pioneering work in opening the field of color autofluorescence and in employing OCT angiography to detect changes in the choriocapillaris in AMD subjects. He has authored or co-authored over 160 articles in peer reviewed international journals. He has given a number of invited lectures at meetings. He is recipient of a number of prizes and he is on the board of medical societies (national and specialized), as well as a consultant to numerous pharmaceutical companies. R Dolz-Marco, MD, PhD is a Clinical Assistant of Ophthalmology at Oftalvist Clinic, Valencia, Spain and Professor at Catholic University in Valencia. She completed her Medical Degree at University of Valencia and University of Brussels, and completed her residency program in Ophthalmology at University and Polytechnic Hospital La Fe (Valencia, Spain) being awarded as the best in class resident doctor in 2013. Dr. Dolz-Marco completed her Doctoral Degree in 2013 with Cum Laude mention, and obtained the European Board of Ophthalmology. She underwent a Medical Retina Fellowship at Vitreous Retina Macula Consultants of New York in 2016. She has authored over 145 peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts and has co-authored numerous book chapters, receiving the early career distinction of the Spanish Ophthalmology Society in 2018 and the Ophthalmologica Lecture at Euretina 2019. She is involved in numerous research projects and clinical trials with special interest in medical retina and imaging.
