He is Visiting Professor in six International Universities worldwide, and Key Note Lecturer in several international dermatology Societies. Editor in Chief of the Dermatologic Therapy. He has been President of numerous international congresses. He is Ordinary Member of the main Scientific Societies worldwide (EADV, SIDEV, ESDR , ISD, AAD, SID) and Honorary Member of several Scientific Societies of the Dermatology field. He is Deputy Editor of Dermatologic Therapy, Executive Secretary, Association for Psychocutaneous Medicine of North America (APMNA) and Director of JPS Psychiatric & Psychological Services Xinghua Gao, MD, Ph.D is a Professor, Chair of Dermatology and Deputy Director of The First Hospital of China Medical University, fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom FRCP (Edinburgh). He serves as presidents-elect of Chinese Society of Dermatology and Chinese Dermatologist Association, board member of International Society of Dermatology and, editorial board members of dozens of scientific journals.
