Academic Press Inc (Verlag)

Beauty, Aging and Anti-Aging covers novel and updated research and treatment options regarding the effects of aging on human physiology. Beauty perception and related molecular pathways are reviewed, current medical and surgical approaches to aging are discussed in detail, as well as the historical perceptions on beauty and the medical restorative and reconstructive treatment options.
The first part of the book will focus on beauty, youth and aging, and its effects on human body. In the second part, various restorative treatment approaches of various fields to the consequences of aging will be reviewed in detail. Particularly, invasive treatment options and molecular pathophysiology of the aging will be covered in this book. Current restorative algorithms of various reconstructive fields in antiaging is what this book will highlight compared to other books which are more focused on different physiological backgrounds of aging rather that treatment options.
