Dr Anahita Dua is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and a vascular surgeon at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She is the director of the vascular lab, co-director of the peripheral artery disease center, associate director of the wound care program, and director of the lymphedema center. She specializes in advanced endovascular and open techniques for the care of patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD), diabetic limb disease, aortic disease, carotid disease, thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS), and venous disease. She completed her vascular surgery fellowship at Stanford Hospital, General Surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and medical school in the United Kingdom. She also has completed a masters degree in trauma sciences, an MBA in Healthcare Management, a certificate in health economics and outcomes research as well as a certificate in drug and device development from MIT. She is nationally certified in advanced wound care and management. Dr. Dua has published over 127 peer reviewed papers and has edited four vascular surgery medical textbooks. She serves on multiple national vascular surgery committees through the Society for Vascular Surgery and other vascular organizations. She is also the director of the Clinical Approach to Vascular Ultrasound Harvard Course.
Scott Manchester (BS, MS, RVT) is registered vascular technologist, with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). He is the Technical and Clinical Director of the vascular lab at Massachusetts General Hospital. He has completed his Associate and Bachelor's degree in Science from the University of Massachusetts, a Master's degree in Science and Leadership with a concentration of Health Management from the Northeastern University and received specialized training at the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge and at Boston University. Scott has published most recently and serves on various committees within his organization. He considers himself as a detail-oriented, focused clinical professional expanding over more than 20 years in performing ultrasound procedures, and clinical applications. His proven track record of collaborating with physicians and other hospital staff in delivering high-quality ultrasound guided practices, driving growth, and generating revenue and fully adhering to facility, state, federal, IAC accreditation and Joint Commission standards either meet or exceed expectation.
Dr. Kim is a traditional vascular surgery fellow at the Massachusetts General Hospital and a board-certified general surgeon. He attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati, where he stayed for general surgery residency. He completed an NIH T32-funded research fellowship in hemorrhage and endothelial dysfunction, and served as the Robert H. Bower administrative chief resident. During residency, he was awarded the Josef E. Fischer Resident of the Year Award by the residents, and the Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award by third-year medical students. His interests include clinical outcomes research and medical education. He has authored over 45 peer-reviewed publications, multiple book chapters, and several review books.
