Vincenzo Gulla graduated in Electronic Engineering at the University of Rome and continued education with several stages in business and marketing in many technology areas such as Satellite communications, Mobile, Wireless, Localization and mobile Positioning solutions, High Definition video, xDSL, Broadband terrestrial networking, innovative telecommunication services and markets and Telemedicine . Has over 25 years of experience in ICT technologies and Markets. He started his carrier in the telecommunications industry working for the most important Italian companies and organizations covering positions as Telecoms Marketing Department Director, Vertical Applications Market Director, Telemedicine, Chairman of the European Market Focus Group, Chairman of the DSL-Forum Marketing Committee, Member of the SIT (Italian scientific telemedicine association) , associated professor at the University of Camerino (Italy) for Master in Telemedicine and electro- medical devices “ and an independent consultant . Presently is the technical Director of ADiTech SRL Italian company for telemedicine solutions. Angelo Rossi Mori is a researcher on eHealth at the Istituto Tecnologie Biomediche, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, in Rome. His research is focussed on comparative studies about design principles and evaluation of impact of National and Regional eHealth strategies. He is developing methodologies to deploy ICT-enhanced health policies at National or Regional levels, for a balanced diffusion of ICT across the health sectors. He is currently assisting the Health Regional Authorities of Sicilia, Campania, Calabria about a sustainable approach to eHealth and modern telemedicine. Other research topics involve the semantics of clinical terminologies, clinical datasets, EHR. He was involved in several EU Projects (GALEN, KAVAS, IREP, GALEN-IN-USE, TOMELO, C-CARE, PROREC, WIDENET, EHR-Q-TN, eHealth ERA, RIDE, ANCIEN). He was active in the standardization on health informatics, contributing to the creation of CEN/TC251 and ISO/TC215; in HL7 he was member of the Technical Steering Committee and co-chair of the Templates SIG. Francesco Gabbrielli was born August 29th, 1965 in Italy and obtained Medicine-Surgery Degree at University of Pisa, Postgraduate Specialization in General Surgery and PhD in Experimental Surgery at University of L’Aquila. He get also TPM Certification by Transplantation Committee, Council of Europe. Beyond the surgical activity in different hospitals in Italy and Spain, he developed his career in the fields of organ Transplantation, Telemedicine, Project and Team Management for healthcare organizations. He was Responsible for national and international experimental projects at the Italian Transplant Centre, National Health Institute in Rome, holding other public assignments in Quality Assurance, Data Security, Patients Safety. From 2007 at Surgical Sciences Department, Umberto I General Hospital of Rome, he has continued Coordination for National Transplant Network and researches in Telematic Medicine and Surgery becoming Member of the National Executive Board of the Italian Telemedicine Society, General Manager of the National Group for Telematic Surgery. Pietro Lanzafame get his Electronic Engineer Master Degree in April 2003. He get a PhD in Neurobiological and Clinical Sciences at University of Messina. During his study and post degree training his research interests have been dedicated to the computer vision, artificial intelligence and human-machine interaction. He also developed skills in usability and human acceptance of computer systems and technologies. During a year of research stage, with scholarship, at IRCCS Centro Neurolesi “Bonino-Pulejo” of Messina, he developed a computer vision system for eyes movements studies in neurological disease. He has been representative of the Italian Space Agency and Sicilian Region joint committee for the Telemedicine Activities in the Sicilian Region from 07/02/200 and Component of technical committee for a “Regional Desk for EU Projects” at Sicilian Region Health Authority from May 2008 to June 2009. During his PhD period at the IRCCS Centro Neurolesi, he created and led Bioengineering and Telemedicine Group, developing several research projects on ICT application in Neurology. He is scientific liable to Telemedicine projects for Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer and Stroke patients. He is scientific liable to Sicilian Region Telepathology project. He is liable to “Neurorehabilitation , Bioengineering and Telemedicine” Research Line of the IRCCS Centro Neurolesi.
