Nada Melhem is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences, American University of Beirut, Lebanon. She is currently the Director of the Division of Health Professions and the Chair of the Medical Laboratory Sciences Program. She is also a member of the Center for Infectious Diseases Research, Faculty of Medicine at the American University of Beirut. Melhem serves as a consultant to the National Committee of Communicable Diseases at the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health and a temporary advisor to the World Health Organization (Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office).
