It should be of use to medical libraries and departments of immunology and hematology. New features to this edition include: summary of diagrams for each CD antigens showing at a glance the main features of structure, function, tissue distribution, and the chromosomal location of the gene; separate CD guide in numerical order summarizing key features of each antigen to provide reference on the structure and function of each molecule, with clinical and practical applications; and an antibody appendix (reinstated from the IVth volume), with antibodies listed by: donar, clone name, and blind panel code.
