Anne Mosenthal MD, FACS, is Professor and Chair of the Department of Surgery, and the Benjamin F Rush Jr. MD Endowed Chair of Surgery, at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. A trauma surgeon most of her career, she has spent the last 25 years caring for those affected by traumatic injury in and around Newark, and advocating nationally for improvements in trauma and critical care. After graduating Cornell in 1979, Anne did research in microbiology, received her MD at Dartmouth Medical School and then completed her surgical training at the University of Massachusetts and Massachusetts General Hospital. Geoffrey P. Dunn, MD, FACS, received a BA in religion at Haverford College and his surgical training with the Harvard Surgical Service, New England Deaconess Hospital. His surgical experience included trauma, burns, pediatrics, and cancer in his country and abroad. He was Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Hamot Medical Center before working full time in the field of palliative and hospice care with Great Lakes Hospice and at Hamot Medical Center.
