Heather A.E. Benson is an Associate Professor at Curtin University, Perth, Australia, where she leads the Drug Delivery Research Group. She has extensive experience in drug delivery, with a particular focus in transdermal and topical delivery. Michael S. Roberts is an Australian National Health & Medical Research Council Senior Principal Research Fellow, and an international expert in skin science. He is Associate Editor for Skin Pharmacology and Physiology and a member of the Editorial Board for many journals, including the International Journal of Cosmetic Science. Vânia R. Leite-Silva graduated in pharmacy and biochemistry with master’s and doctorate degrees in pharmaceutical production and control from the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil. She has more than 20 years' experience in the industry, with an emphasis on the research and development of cosmetics. Kenneth A. Walters obtained his PhD in 1979 from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. Walters has been a Charter Member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists since its inauguration in 1986 and is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology.
