Pooya Khan Mohammad Beigi, MD, MSc is a Clinical Research Fellow at the Child & Family Research Institute affiliated with the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, BC, Canada) and Grace Medical Centre. He is the proud President/Owner of the NWM Medical Clinic (Vancouver, BC, Canada) as well as the Founder/CEO of the Misdiagnosis Association and Society (Seattle, WA, USA), and Founder/CEO of the Father Medical Charity based in Vancouver, Canada. About the Author Dr. Beigi established the Misdiagnosis Association and Society with the aim of collecting and preparing the most comprehensive databases of misdiagnosed cases and conducting related medical research studies, in collaboration with health organizations, universities, clinics, professors, and physicians from all around the world. He aims to diminish and ultimately solve the problem of misdiagnosis through meticulous research and collaboration with the world's health systems. Furthermore, he founded the Father Medical Charity with the goal of helping patients in need, especially those in underdeveloped countries. This charity collaborates with many physicians and nurses employed in underdeveloped countries. These professionals identify patients in need and refer them to this medical charity to receive the necessary medications or facilitate treatments. He is the author of multiple scientific articles in different journals and medical textbooks released with Springer including Acrodermatitis Enteropathica: A Clinician's Guide and A Clinician's Guide to Mycosis Fungoides.
