Jonathan Passmore (Series Editor) is the Professor of Coaching and Behavioural Change at Henley Business School, University of Reading and a professor of psychology at the University of Evora, Portugal. He is a chartered psychologist, holds five degrees, and has an international reputation for his work in coaching and leadership, including being listed by Thinkers50 as one of the top 10 coaches in the world. He has published widely books on the themes of leadership, personal development and change, and served as editor for the Association for Coaching book series. He speaks widely at conferences across the world and has published over 100 journal papers and book chapters. Harold W. Goldstein is Professor of Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Baruch College, the City University of New York, USA. He is a recognized expert in the management of human capital with over twenty years of independent consulting experience. His research focuses on the development and implementation of staffing systems that result in hiring a talented diverse work force. His research has been published in top journals and books and has received awards for innovation and outstanding applied research contributions to the field. Elaine D. Pulakos is CEO of PDRI and an internationally recognized contributor to the field of industrial and organizational psychology. In 2010 she received the Distinguished Professional Contributions Award from SIOP, where she has also served as President. She has published numerous articles on performance management, staffing and human resources best practices, and is the author of five books, including Performance Management Transformation: Lessons Learned and Next Steps. Carla S. Semedo is Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Évora, Portugal, where she leads on occupational health psychology. She also works as a consultant in the field of organizational psychology in evaluation and intervention at health services. She is responsible for teaching psychology at undergraduate, masters, and doctoral level, and for coordinating the occupational health psychology research line. She worked for more than 10 years as HR consultant, mainly in recruitment and selection.
