The first tape explains why cryotherapy works through animated depictions of the injury process at the cellular level and how cryotherapy slows this process. The tape then introduces the RICES approach - Rest, Icing, Compression, Elevation, and Stabilization - for immediate treatment of injuries. The second tape shows how to get back into the game quickly by using the advanced techniques of cryokinetics and cryostretch.
