This book examines the special skills needed in paediatric radiography. In the second edition the chapters have been expanded, the chapter on the neonate has been rewritten, and a section discussing child psychology has been added.
In the past seven or eight years, a much greater awareness of the special skills needed in paediatric radiography has become apparent. This handbook covers the basics of how to achieve good radiographs of children. It is designed for student radiographers, but will also be valuable for qualified radiographers in general departments which deal occasionally with children. For the second edition most chapters have been expanded and brought up to date, the chapter on the neonate completely rewritten and a discussion of child psychology added to chapter one.
