Suitable for clients who have limited motor control, with a reliance on a yes/no response and/or eye pointing, this sourcebook for neurodisability contains photocopiable handouts and worksheets, printed in large type for the visually impaired client, which can enable independent working by clients and their carers.

FIONA SUGDEN-BEST qualified as a Speech Language therapist from City University London, in 1988 where she returned to study for an MSc in Communication Disorders in 1993. She initially worked in a general position for Newham Health Authority before working at the Royal Hospital for Neurodisability for seven and a half years, managing predominanty a progressive neurological client group and providing cover on the rehabilitation wards, including a minimally responsive unit. She has also worked as Senior Speech Language Therapist for acude neurosciences at The Royal London and Barts NHS Trust and as adult team co-ordinator for Redbridge Healthcare, covering a domicilliary caseload. She currently works as Head Speech Language Therapist a the Children's Trust. Fiona has always been actively involved in educating others, including speech language therapists.

Oromotor exercises for face, lip, tongue, jaw and palate; artificulation sheets for each sound in initial medial and final positions as appropriate. Language assessments where clients require only a reliiable yes/no response to answer syntactically complex questions; an AAC screening form. Handouts questionnaire and breathing sheets to hand to carers to explain the type of communication difficulty their dependant is experiencing.
