"VisualDx Pediatric Medicine" includes problem-oriented components covering common and serious visually presenting conditions from the newborn to the teenage years. This package also includes comprehensive assistance for suspected drug and medication eruptions.
"The VisualDx Pediatric Medicine" module includes access to: Child Multiple Lesions or Rash: More than 150 common and serious childhood diseases manifesting with skin findings with over 2,400 photographs; toddlers, children, and teens of all skin types; Child Single Lesion or Growth: Over 40 diagnoses of benign or malignant growths or solitary lesions in children, with more than 500 photographs; Neonate/Infant Multiple Lesions or Rash: 150 diagnoses covering common and serious dermatologic, genetic, infectious, and inflammatory diseases, with over 1,600 photographs for the newborn or infant; and Neonate/Infant Single Lesion or Growth: Covers 66 diagnoses and includes 450 images of benign or malignant growths or solitary lesions to evaluate a neonate or infant with a lump or bump. It also includes: Drug Eruptions: Nearly 1,300 photographs covering over 80 diagnoses caused by or predisposed to by medications as well as those diagnoses that are often mistaken for drug eruptions; and CA-MRSA: Educational module providing up-to-date topic overview of CA-MRSA with individual summaries and supporting images for common diseases that potentially involve MRSA.
