New to this edition, the reader will find coverage of Industry 4.0; supply chain disruption; Internet of Things (IoT); 3D printing; Big Data Analytics; AI and digitalization. Environmental and sustainability issues are emphasized, as are globalisation and automation processes. Aimed in particular at students seeking an introduction to the subject, Operations Management Analytics, 4th Edition provides the reader with a comprehensive resource upon which to base their learning. A number of new case studies are featured – these are drawn from the service industry, manufacturing and the public sector, and come from a range of international contexts. Each chapter is complemented by a strategy link section that relates the chapter topic to operations strategy, and an Analytics section which provides quantitative content and exercises. End-of-chapter questions and exercises encourage the reader to reflect on what they have learnt.
Accompanied by a comprehensive package of online learning support materials, including a testbank of 1500 questions, PowerPoint slides and an instructor’s manual, Operations Management Analytics, 4th Edition is the ideal textbook for undergraduate students seeking to quickly get to grips with this fascinating and lively subject.
