Raj Sharman is a Professor in the MSS Department at the University at Buffalo. His expertise is in the areas of artificial intelligence, information assurance and the use of biologically inspired computer security models, and disaster response management. Dr. Sharman has published widely in national and international journals and is the recipient of several grants. Dr. Sharman earned his PhD in computer science and a MS in industrial engineering from Louisiana State University. He served as Director of MS in the MIS program and as PhD Faculty Adviser for SUNY Buffalo’s MSS department from 2005 to 2016.
