These include the Best Student Award in 2019, the IEEE Region-10 Travel Grant Award in 2019, the 2nd runner-up prize in the IEEE RAS HACKATHON in 2019 (held in Bangladesh), the IEEE Student Early Researcher Conference Fund (SERCF) in 2020, the Emerging Scientist Award in 2021, and the IEEE Signal Processing Society Professional Development Grant in 2021. His commitment to excellence in research was further underscored by his receipt of the Excellence in Research Award in 2023.
Dr. Susanta Das is a seasoned educator with a proven record of teaching and mentoring diverse students, working at multiple institutions, and providing service to the various initiatives of organizations. He received his Ph.D. and M.A. degrees from Western Michigan University (WMU), USA, and M.Sc. degree from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), India all in Physics. He continued his post-doctoral research as a Marie-Curie post-doctoral fellow at Stockholm University Stockholm, Sweden on beam diagnostics for the DESIREE (Double ElectroStatic Ion Ring ExpEriment) in the project DITANET (Diagnostic Techniques for particle Accelerators - a Marie-Curie initial training NETwork), at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research-Kolkata, India on high-pressure physics as a Project Scientist-B, and at the University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan on ion-surface interactions as a Post-doctoral fellow.
Dr. Álvaro Rocha was listed in 2023 as World's 1% Top Scientists by Stanford University and Elsevier, World's Top 0.05% Scientist by ScholarGPS, and World's Top 1% Scientist by ResearchGate for the fields of Information Science and Information Systems. He is Professor at ISEG, University of Lisbon, Invited Professor at University of Calabria, Honorary Professor at Amity University, President of ITMA - Information and Technology Management Association, Vice-Chair of IEEE SMC Portugal Chapter, and Book Series Scientific Manager at Springer-Nature. He holds the title of Honorary Professor, and holds a D.Sc. in Information Science, Ph.D. in Information Systems and Technologies, M.Sc. in Information Management, and BCs in Computer Science.
Dr Debanjali Barman Roy has completed her Ph.D. Degree in Physics from ICFAI University, Dehradun. The title of her Ph.D. dissertation was "Fabrication and Characterization of Iron Oxide Nanomaterials and Nanocomposites for the Advanced Device Applications".
Dr. Paras Chawla received his B.Tech. (Honors) and M.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Kurukshetra University; NIT, Kurukshetra and Ph. D. from Thapar University, Patiala. Completed One year Online Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from Purdue University, USA & Master Course program from IBM. He has more than 20 years of teaching & administration experience
