Marcelo V. Garcia, PhD. (Scopus ID: 56597269000, Web of Science ResearcherID: J-3195-2019) is a researcher from INTELIA research group. He studied electronics and instrumentation engineering at the University of the Armed Forces-ESPE. In 2013 he obtained his Master's Degree in Control, Automation, and Robotics Engineering and in 2018 he obtained his doctorate at the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU). His studies were carried out thanks to a grant from the Ecuadorian government. From 2008 to 2013 he worked as an engineer in different companies in the area of oil and gas in Ecuador such as Schlumberger, Petrobras and Petroamazonas EP. His research interest is focused on the design of next-generation architectures based on Industry 4.0 in various domains such as automation and smart manufacturing.

Carlos Gordon Gallegos, PhD. (Scopus ID: 56419359600) He received his Electronic engineering and the M.Sc. degree in Networks and Telecommunications from the Technical University of Ambato (UTA) Ecuador in 2005 and 2010, respectively. He joined the Department of Optoelectronics and Laser Technology, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, UC3M, Madrid, Spain in 2012, and he received Ph.D. degree in Electrical, Electronics and Automation Engineering in 2016, under the supervision of Prof. Guillermo Carpintero del Barrio. He has written more than sixty SCOPUS scientific papers. His current research interests include photonic integrated circuits in InP for the Millimeter-wave & Terahertz signal generation for high data rate wireless communication systems, the semiconductor short-pulse laser systems, Artificial Intelligence in Robotics and Renewable Energy.

Carlos Nuñez M., Mg. (Scopus ID: 57201028703) He received his engineering in computer and information systems and the Mg. in database managment from the Technical University of Ambato (UTA) Ecuador in 2006 and 2012, respectively. He has written more than ten SCOPUS scientific papers. His current research interests include, and Software Artificial Intelligence and DataBase. Currently coordinator of the Operational Research Unit of the Faculty of Engineering in Electronic and Industrial Systems and General Coordinator of the Network of the Technical University of Ambato

Asier Salazar-Ramirez, PhD. (Scopus ID: 56595079200) is a researcher of ALDAPA (ALgorithms, DAta mining and PArallelism) research group at the Department of Computer Architecture and Technology of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). He earned his Eng. degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mondragon in 2012, and his Master's degree in Robotics, Automation and Control Engineering in the UPV/EHU in 2013. Asier is involved in the Physiological Computing research line of ALDAPA, where he obtained his PhD in 2020. Currently, he works as an adjoint professor for the department of Systems Engineering and Automation of the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU) in the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao.
