This volume features selected papers presented at the first French-Moroccan Mathematics Days (F2MDays'23) held at the Abdelmalek Essaadi University, Morocco 2023. During these days, a variety of scientific activities involving training, workshops, and international conferences on scientific mediation, applied mathematics, innovation, and didactics of mathematics where held. The event provided an opportunity to build bridges between mathematical communities, reinforce existing international cooperation, and initiate new ones, hence contributing to the outreach of all involved parties.

Arij Bouzelmate is a Full Professor of mathematics at the Faculty of Sciences - Tetouan, Abdelmalek Essaadi University. She started her academic journey in 2009 at the Polydisciplinary Faculty of Larache and later joined the polydisciplinary faculty of Tetouan in 2011. Since 2013, she has been member of the mathematics department at the Faculty of Sciences- Tetouan, and currently she is the head of the mathematics department. Her research focuses on resolving parabolic and elliptic problems involving partial differential equations. Arij is the director of the Laboratory for Numerical Analysis, Nonlinear Analysis and Applicatons (LaR2A, UAE/U09FS) since 2013.

Bouchaib Ferrahi is a Full Professor of mathematics at the Faculty of Sciences- Tetouan, Abdelmalek Essaadi University. Before joining Tetouan University, he worked for over a decade in private higher education where he contributed to teaching, academic leadership, and building connections with the industry.

Olivier Lafitte is currently the head of the International research laboratory of CNRS in Mathematics at Montréal (IRL CRM-CNRS). He graduated from École Polytechnique in 1987, PhD of Orsay university in 1992, he started his career at the French Atomic Energy Commission. He is a mathematics researcher and Professor (Exceptional Class) at Sorbonne Paris Nord University. Since 2001, he has been member of the Laboratory for Analysis, Geometry, and Applications (LAGA, UMR CNRS 7539).

Benoit Rittaud is a mathematics researcher and senior lecturer at Sorbonne Paris Nord University since 1999. He is member of the Laboratory for Analysis, Geometry, and Applications (LAGA, UMR CNRS 7539). His research areas of interest include dynamical systems and combinatorics. He has authored several research articles including books in mathematics teaching. He is also a contributor to the mathematics videos of the AuDiMath project, sponsored by CNRS.
