Provides comprehensive treatment of spread spectrum theory and systems in conjunction with the basic principles of array signal processing. It is intended that the book should be self-contained, and it therefore presents a concise overview of the main parameters common to all communication systems.
In this book a comprehensive treatment of spread spectrum theory and systems is presented in conjunction with the basic principles of array signal processing. Through the exploitation of both spread spectrum and array processing theories a new and more powerful type of CDMA direct sequence spread spectrum system emerges. It is intended that the book should be self-contained, and therefore, a concise overview of the main parameters common to all communication systems is presented, followed by a compact, yet informative, discussion of the optimum reception/detection theory which will be supported by a number of representative examples. This book is aimed at postgraduates and final year undergraduate students.
