Often imitated but never rivalled, DNA Replication, Second Edition, regarded around the world as a classic of modern
science, is now back in print in a paperback edition. Kornberg and Baker's insightful coverage of DNA replication and related cellular processes have made this 1992 edition the standard reference in the field.
ARTHUR KORNBERG, shared (with Severo Ochoa) the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1959 for his laboratory synthesis of DNA. He is Professor Emeritus of Biochemistry at the Stanford University School of Medicine, USA. TANIA A. BAKER obtained her training in biochemistry with Dr. Kornberg at Stanford University. She is currently Professor of Biology at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA and Investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
