Mega Man X7 is the latest installment in the popular Mega Man series, now for PlayStation 2. The 3D action/adventure game stars Axl, a new mystery hero, Mega Man X, and his courageous friend Zero. Players continue their quest to rid the world of evil as they blast into the future and battle numerous foes. With a unique mix of traditional 2D and 3D perspectives, the game combines different traits from the series to deliver an all-encompassing sequel. The new double hero system allows players to form a team comprised of two heroes by selecting characters from Mega Man X or Axl. Gamers will also experience many exciting boss battles set in a 3D action perspective. The auto lock-on system lets players quickly lock onto an enemy within attack range. They can also change targets and aim at an enemy's weak spot. In addition, Axl, the new mysterious character, will have a unique ability unlike any other and add more strategic elements to the game. Not Final Cover.
