Arising from the 2019 Darwin College Lectures, this book presents essays from seven prominent public intellectuals on the theme of vision. Andrew Fabian is an Emeritus Professor at the Institute of Astronomy of the University of Cambridge and Emeritus Fellow of Darwin College. Janet Gibson is the College Registrar for Darwin College at the University of Cambridge. Mike Sheppard is an Honorary Fellow of Darwin College, Cambridge. Simone Weyand is a Fellow of Darwin College, a Visiting Scientist at the Department of Biochemistry, and a Visiting Scientist at the Cambridge Institute of Medical Research.
