Dr. Vasileios Mezaris is a Research Director at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), Greece, and Coordinator of the InVID H2020 EU project. His other publications include the Springer title Personal Multimedia Preservation: Remembering or Forgetting Images and Video. Dr. Lyndon Nixon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of New Media Technology, MODUL University Vienna, Austria, and the CTO of the spin-off company MODUL Technology GmbH. In the InVID project, he led the work on news story detection and social media retrieval.
