Utter Chaos calls for the 'State of Emergency(R) Official Strategy Guide'.
State of Emergency is a mission based urban riot game for PlayStation 2. Set in the future, the game takes the action genre to new levels of mayhem. The premise revolves around a group called the ATO (American Trade Organization), who has taken control of a city. The ATO has declared a state of emergency. State authorities have taken action by trying to put a handle on any organized resistance and stop the spread of a revolt. Gamers play as a member of the resistance through a series of missions. As utter chaos plagues the downtown streets, players must smash everything and beat up everyone in order to overthrow the ATO's authority and advance through the game. Environments in the game are fully interactive, and gamers will be able to destruct just about everything in their path, using a unique mix of weapons--grenades, shot guns, machine guns, flame-throwers, pipes, bricks and garbage cans! Gamers will also participate in street fights with over 100 people on screen at once.
