This book presents a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of electrical circuit theory in biomedical engineering, ideally suited as textbook for a graduate course. It contains methods and theory, but the topical focus is placed on practical applications of circuit theory, including problems, solutions and case studies. The target audience comprises graduate students and researchers and experts in electrical engineering who intend to embark on biomedical applications. 

A. Ümit Keskin received his BSEE degree from Bogazici University, MSEE from Yildiz Technical University and PhD degree from the Institute of Science and Technology, Istanbul Technical University, and then he joined Siemens AG, Turkey. He was actively engaged in the fields of Medical Instrumentation, Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy throughout his professional career. Since 2002, he is a staff member of Yeditepe University, Faculty of Engineering. Professor Keskin is one of the founders and recently the head of Biomedical Engineering Department at Yeditepe University, where he teaches Biomedical Engineering, Circuit Theory and Electrical Circuits in Biomedical Engineering courses. His main research interests are analog circuits and signal processing, sensors, transducers, and their computer simulation, medical instrumentation theory and its applications.
