Carlo Caserio is an assistant professor of Business Administration at eCampus University, Novedrate, Como, Italy. He received a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Macerata and was a research fellow at the University of Pisa, where he conducted research activities on Management Information Systems and Management Control. He is a lecturer in financial accounting, financial statement analysis, and planning and control at the eCampus University, Faculty of Economics. His research interests include the fields of Management Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems, and Management Control Systems. Sara Trucco is an assistant professor at the Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma in Rome. She obtained a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Pisa in 2011, where she was a research fellow from 2011 to 2014. Her main teaching efforts are focused on financial accounting and accounting information systems. Her research interests are in the fields of financial accounting, auditing, and management accounting.
