Markus Jura is a Senior Software Engineer and a member of the ConductR team at Lightbend. He has more than 14 years of experience managing and developing software solutions in Java and Scala. He became passionate about programming in Scala, Akka and Play ever since he got introduced to these technologies in 2011. From that point on Markus enjoys to share his experience as a speaker at various conferences. He is also the co-founder and former CTO of testmunk. James Roper has led the development of Lagom Framework from its inception, and continues to work as the tech lead for the project. Prior to that he was the tech lead of Play Framework, and has a background in both enterprise Java development as well as web scale microservice systems.
