The unique “Watch and Work” mode shrinks the video into a small window to allow you to work alongside in Adobe Photoshop as you view the video. Project files used in the lessons are included on the disc so you can practice what you’ve learned. At the end of every lesson, you can test your knowledge by taking interactive quizzes.

Ben Jaffe is an instructor and CSS, HTML, and JavaScript developer who builds web pages and web apps that load quickly, feel snappy, and look pretty. He teaches courses on front-end web development, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive web development for several San Francisco Bay Area training companies. He also cohosts GeekSpeak, a weekly talk radio show and podcast about science and technology (http://geekspeak.org). His web development firm, Clever Developer, specializes in building custom front-end experiences. Ben is also an avid musician (piano, clarinet, guitar, and steering wheel drums), and enjoys improvisation both inside and outside of his musical life. He is usually smiling.
