Autor

Gregory Satir first programmed in C++ in the early 1990s when the language was still a bit rough around the edges. He co-wrote C++: The Core Language to help newcomers get their bearings in that strange new world. He is glad that C++ is much more beginner-friendly now and a book like C++: The Good Parts is possible. His latest work finds him developing in numerous languages for the web 2.0 world. He lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife, two children, dog and guinea pig.
