This text for GNVQ (Advanced) students, is an introduction to microprocessor hardware and software. The author prepares students for careers as technician engineers, or for moving into higher studies. From simple ideas, the student is led through fundamental concepts to an understanding of the structure and operation of a complete microprocessor based system.
