Bhuvan Unhelkar (BE, MDBA, MSc, PhD; FACS) has more than 26 years of strategic as well as hands-on professional experience in information and communication technology. He earned his doctorate in the area of object orientation from the University of Technology, Sydney. He has authored/edited fourteen books including this one, and has extensively presented and published research papers and case studies. He is the founder of MethodScience.com and has notable consulting and training expertise in software engineering (modeling, processes, and quality), enterprise globalization, Web services, enterprise architecture, and mobile technologies. Wearing his academic hat, he teaches, amongst other units, Object Oriented Analysis and Design and IT Project Management, and leads the Mobile Internet Research and Applications Group (MIRAG). He is a sought-after orator, a fellow of the Australian Computer Society, Life member of the Computer Society of India, a Rotarian (Paul Harris Fellow) and a previous TiE Mentor. Abbass Ghanbary (PhD) earned a full scholarship from University of Western Sydney (UWS) in Australia to complete his PhD. Abbass's thesis focused on the issues and challenges faced by businesses during the incorporation of Web services into businesses integration which resulted in the creation of a model for collaborative business process engineering. His investigation mainly concentrated on the improvements of Web services applications across multiple organizations. Abbass is also a respected consultant in the industry in addition to his lecturing and tutoring at the university. He is a member of the Mobile Internet Research and Applications Group (MIRAG) within advanced enterprise information management systems (AeIMS) research group. Abbass is also a member of the Australian Computer Society and is active in attending various forums, seminars, and discussions; and is a committee member that runs Quantitative Enterprise Software Performance (QESP). Houman Younessi (PhD) is a professor of science, engineering, and management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - Hartford Graduate Campus where he is also in charge of all academic programs. Houman is an internationally renowned educator, practitioner, consultant, and investigator. He is the inventor of the SBM (State Behavior Modeling) method and the co-inventor of the OPEN methodology and the new paradigm of recombinant programming. Dr. Younessi combines world class research based knowledge with recognized industry experience to bring forth innovations in research as well as in the classroom and industry, where his consultation is regularly sought by many leading organizations. A multi-disciplinarian, he has publications and expertise in many fields including software engineering, information systems, business and enterprise management and enterprise modeling and co-design, decision science, managerial economics and econometrics, and quantitative finance.
