CASSANDRA KHAW (they/them) is an award-winning game writer and former scriptwriter at Ubisoft Montreal. CAITLÍN R. KIERNAN is the author of over a dozen science fiction and dark fantasy works, including Agents of Dreamland, many comic books; and more than two hundred published short stories, novellas, and vignettes. They are also the author of scientific papers in the field of paleontology. VICTOR LAVALLE is the author of more than ten works of fiction and graphic novels, including the multi-award-winning novel, The Changeling. He has been a finalist for the Hugo and Nebula Awards. He has been the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, Whiting Writers Award, and the Key to Southeast Queens. He teaches writing at Columbia University and lives with his wife and kids in the Bronx.
S. L. Coney is the author of Wild Spaces, an Esquire Best of Horror 2023 pick and 2024 Philip K. Dick Award nominee. They were named as an author to watch by Publisher’s Weekly. Their short stories have appeared in St. Louis Noir and Gamut Magazine and their story “Abandoned Places” was picked for 2017's Best American Mystery Stories. They still hold seashells to their ears to hear the ocean speak to them, and are still deeply disappointed that their fins never grew in.
