Then again: "As much as I would like to claim that Wilen is populated exclusively by angels great and small, there are inevitably a few people from time to time who have thoughts and intentions that are, shall we say, less than Christian. I must mention that some angels are less angelic than others. However, I never suspected that there would be a night in Wilen when I would encounter the devil. But I don't think I was wrong: I met "Old Nick" in person ..."

Paul Townend (1925-2009) wuchs in Eastbourne, England auf. Nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg wanderte er nach Obwalden aus, wo er, zusammen mir seiner Ehefrau ein Hotel führte, malte und schrieb.
