Gero may be a master assassin, but he’s not exactly killing it in the romance department! Can marriage swindler Kinosaki help him find true love?

Poison Master Hikaru Gero is about to take on his most challenging assignment yet—getting married! Gero couldn’t be more clueless when it comes to dating, but thankfully, marriage swindler Mei Kinosaki knows everything there is to know about love. Together, this unlikely pair is going to do whatever it takes to get Gero hitched—even if they have to take on the entire criminal underworld in the process!

After Kinosaki sets Gero up as bodyguard for Shiori Ureshino—the daughter of a high-profile CEO—Gero’s assassin skills are pushed to the limit as he tries to prevent Sound Master Naruko from turning Ureshino’s university camping trip into an all-out horror show!

Joumyaku kicked off his career in 2021 when he wrote two one-shots, “Hyper Hard Special Mission” and “Reisougyou no Arai-kun” (Ghost Sweeper Arai-kun), published in back-to-back months of Jump+. The following year, Joumyaku partnered with Mizuki Yoda to release his first serialization, Marriage Toxin. Mizuki Yoda first hit the manga scene with his one-shot “Jigoku no Sata mo Ryuu Shidai” (The State of Hell Depends on the Dragon), which was published in Shonen Jump NEXT! in 2015. In 2016, he and Tomohide Hirao teamed up to create the one-shot “Legacy,” which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump as part of the Gold Future Cup. His first series, Ne0;lation, was completed in 2019, and three years later he began working on his next series, Marriage Toxin, for Jump+.
