Dorian and Marlowe's story begins just as it ends - in blood. For Oliver and his brother, running always seemed like the safest path. For Marlowe, it was the only path. And it might have worked if only they knew who, or what, pursued them. That this thing would follow them to the ends of time and drag them back into the past. Basilic, the second novel in the Tiber Series, weaves the rich tapestry of Marlowe's second life. Beginning in the Autumn of 1929, J.H. White cleverly spans decades to craft the story of Marlowe's found family. This supernatural thriller and historical fantasy peels layer upon layer to reveal a complex world steeped in vengeance and hunger.

J.H. White lives and writes in the Pacific Northwest with her supportive husband, two riotous children, two old-lady dogs, and many over-watered plants. The creative and expressive arts have always been a passion of hers, and she received her Bachelors of Arts in Theatre Arts. After directing and designing many stories on the stage, she ventured into finishing her own stories and endeavoring to publish. With a little encouragement and a lot of editing, The Tiber Series has taken root with Volume I and II. This reverse-chronology series is her first published work and many more are on the horizon. J.H. White enjoys reading and writing varied fiction genres, from fantasy and historical fiction, to thriller and suspense, to realism and classic literature. When not writing, she enjoys working in the garden and expanding her experiences around the world. Visit www.jhwhitebooks.com for more information and to subscribe!
