8:45 PM CST, Thursday

Blue Mist

John Roddenburg and his co-anchors were still staring, with eyes locked on Enoch as he left the stage. In the past hour, they had not said a word. Like the rest of the world, they watched and listened as Enoch and Elijah displayed God’s power with no commercial breaks. Jack South, now Enoch, is the first declared Witness of God. Sharya, as Elijah, is the second Witness they were expecting. In the past hour, during the worldwide broadcast from Kansas City, they mesmerized the entire world. Their astonishing display of God's power through His two final Witnesses completely overwhelmed the world. Mary Ann turned her focus from the stage exit, looked back at the cameras, and realized they were still live. She turned towards John.

“We are still live, John.”

They gathered their wits and composure once they realized the cameras were rolling and their mics were hot.

“I have to say John and Geraldo,” Nancy said. “I am sure the viewers like us are in awe. Tonight, we witnessed an incredible demonstration of God’s power.”

“Yes, I agree,” John replied. “Tonight was an incredible display of His might through men,”

“John, I am astounded,” Geraldo added. “Between the attempted assassination, the biblical reenactment of the staffs turning into snakes, the thunder, lightning… Elijah walking in thin air, it’s… how can I say it, astonishing!” 

John and Mary shook their heads in agreement as John took over the conversation. 

“We have our exclusive slow-motion replay of the attempt on Enoch’s life to show our viewers. This detail is thanks to our high-speed camera being used for tonight’s broadcast.”

John turned toward their high-definition monitor behind the anchor desk as the replay began. The screen magnified, their high-speed camera captured in detail, the bullet traveling towards Jack’s head. With slow motion, it was clear to the viewer how Enoch spun his entire body around at incredible speed, while pointing his staff towards the tower. Then, as the blue aura surrounded Enoch instantaneously, immediately you could see the bullet flattening as it contacted the aura surrounding Enoch. He did not even stagger as the bullet fell to the floor.

After the monitor went blank, Geraldo turned towards John.

“This must be the most incredible amount of footage ever seen. Personally, there are no words to describe what we saw other than miraculous. In an instant, after Enoch spins around and points his staff toward the tower, someone miraculously enveloped his entire body in a blue aura, which in turns saves his life.”

“I agree Geraldo. We have even more for our viewers. Here is a look of the replay showing Elijah walking off the stage into mid-air.” 

They turned towards their big screen monitor. The replay began and they once again saw Elijah throw the staff off the stage overlooking Union Station. It stood stationary in mid-air in a vertical position. On the replay, they witnessed him calmly step into thin air over the cliff, overlooking Union Station and defying gravity. After the replay finished, Mary Ann commented on what they saw.

“When Elijah invited Enoch to walk out to meet him in thin air, I could not even breathe when he took his first step.” 

“What we saw was something difficult to believe or comprehend, Mary Ann,” Geraldo added.

“Then there was the drama of Elijah threatening the enemies of Israel and non-Jews. He ordered them to get out of their land, including Jerusalem. That was the moment they understood he was telling them to vacate the Temple area. What do you think, John?”              “I agree, Mary Ann. It seemed Elijah was declaring they were going to rebuild the Temple to prepare for Jesus’ return.” 

“I think,” Geraldo said, “the emphasis of walking in thin air was to remind us of the New Testament description of Christ walking on water.” 

“I agree,” John said. “In addition, I am sure after seeing this, many realize these men have the power of God in their hands. If this is the case, then no one can stop Elijah or Enoch.”

Geraldo nodded his head in agreement as he chimed in.

“Elijah’s statement was a demand, and I am sure his words tonight will cause concern not only in the Middle East but specifically in Israel. For unlike in biblical days, Elijah does not make religious policy for the Israelis. What I am saying is, how can he tell the government of Israel what to do and what to enforce? He may have caused a war over the Temple Mount area.”

“It is premature to assume the answer to those questions, Geraldo,” John stated.

“I understand. Elijah’s statements were a threat, and… most likely, from his demeanor, a promise. After what we have seen here tonight, we may have to assume Elijah, even though he is not a government leader, has the power to influence others to listen to him. Especially the religious leaders of Israel, who, unlike many governments, play a role in their governmental system called ‘The Rabbinates’. It is a two-person religious post in Israel. Israel elects one from the Ashkenazi side and the other from the Sephardi. They serve a term of ten years. Law recognizes them as the Supreme Halakhic. For our viewers, the word “Halakhic” means the entire body of Jewish law and tradition, comprising the laws of the Bible. They also have spiritual authority over the Jewish people in Israel. You may have noticed in the seating area representing Israel tonight, was the Rabbinate Benjamin Hagen of the Sephardi side. John, I would assume Rabbinate Hagen and his counterpart will work with the Israeli government to decide how to respond to Elijah’s pressures or Elijah himself.” 

“Only time will tell us, Geraldo.” 

“I think,” Mary Ann said, “it will be interesting to see what statements will be made not only by the Israelis, once they conference with the Rabbinates, but their neighbors Iran, Syria, and Egypt. Don’t forget what the Palestinians may have to say.”

“If my gut feeling is correct,” John added, “the Jordanians and the Muslim Waqf will not take this lying down. They have an exclusive right to maintain the Dome of the Rock from the Israeli government, since the capture of Jerusalem in the six-day war in ‘67. I am not sure how Elijah will cause the Israeli government to renege on their agreement.”

“Correct me if I am wrong, Mary Ann,” Geraldo inquired. “Assuming my history is correct, and based on my limited knowledge of the Qur’an, the Dome is one of Islam’s most holy places? It has something to do with Muhammad’s night journey, described in their scriptures.”

“Yes, you are correct, Geraldo. Islam reveres the mount as the Noble Sanctuary ‘Bait-ul-Muqaddas. The Temple Mount is the location of Muhammad's journey to Jerusalem and his ascent to heaven. Also, the Al-Aqsa Mosque rests on the site along with the Dome of the Rock.” 

“Keep in mind Geraldo,” John added, “the Temple Mount, in Jewish history, is where the binding of Isaac took place, as well as being the site of two ancient Jewish Temples.”

“One reason the Jews have not built the Temple after capturing it in ‘67 is because of a technical issue.” 

“What is the issue, Geraldo?” Mary Ann asked.

“By law Mary Ann, Jews cannot walk on the Holy Mount, for they do not know where the Holy of Holies stood in the Temple. I am thinking, since Elijah is here, he would know the location of the Holy of Holies. Maybe he can shed some light on this issue. The days to come will certainly be attention-grabbing. We will have to wait and see what will happen and what everyone will say about these pronouncements from Elijah. For Elijah to tell all Arabs to leave Israeli lands, especially Jerusalem, will be a key dispute.” 

“Yes,” John added, “as the Middle East has been in turmoil now for dozens of years with regime changes in Egypt and civil wars in Syria. In addition, recent events such as the constant infighting between the Palestinians, the Israelis, and the ISIS movement in Iraq. Elijah’s statements tonight will stir up the area. Not counting Iran gaining a nuclear bomb. This issue is still in limbo and has never been resolved, even when the sanctions were in place. The Trump administration held them off for a while, but the following Democratic party leadership let them off the hook. Currently, we do not know if they have a bomb yet or not. I can promise you, Iran’s President will not take these threats from Elijah or Israel sitting down.”

“Tonight’s statements by Elijah could well be the catalyst for an all-out Mideast War,” Mary Ann added. “He stated all Jews from the lost tribes need to migrate back to Israel immediately and leave the United States. Elijah stated firmly that America would be rendered useless.”

“This is a lot to think about,” John added. “And to be honest, I am quite concerned about the status not only of the US but of the entire world. It's scary Mary Ann.”

“We all have concerns about Elijah’s statements, John. With the destruction caused so far in California and the hurricanes coming, as Enoch predicted, we are alarmed.”

“Like everyone else,” Geraldo summarized, “I am looking forward to the interview coming up with Enoch. Maybe he can shed some light on these concerns we have...
