Author Vanessa Araya writes stories and novels about her protagonist, Juni Shimata, a character with a dissociative identity disorder. Vanessa Araya was born and raised in Gardena, California. She studied and taught music in California and is now retired. Araya began writing as part of her attempts to come to terms with her own dissociative disorder. Autorin Vanessa Araya schreibt Geschichten und Romane über die Abenteuer ihrer Protagonistin, Juni Shimata, die an einer dissoziativen Identitätsstörung leidet. Vanessa Araya ist in Gardena (Kalifornien) geboren und aufgewachsen. Sie studierte und unterrichtete dort Musik und ist jetzt Rentnerin. Araya hat als Therapie für ihre eigene dissoziative Störung zu schreiben begonnen.
