Meister Eckhart spent some twenty years in the Dominican convent in Erfurt. Although in recent years the great significance of Meister Eckhart’s time in Erfurt has become increasingly more evident, Eckhart research has on the whole devoted less attention to his years in Erfurt than to his time in Paris, Strasbourg and Cologne. The present volume of 27 papers addresses the research implications of Eckhart’s years in Erfurt.
