Ian Leslie is a journalist and author. His book, Conflicted: Why Arguments are Tearing Us Apart and How They Can Bring Us Together, was named a book of the year by The Times. His first career was in advertising, where he worked as a strategist for some of the world's biggest brands at agencies in London and New York. Leslie's writing on psychology, technology, politics and business has appeared in New Statesman, Economist, Guardian and the Financial Times.
