The book contains essays by leading academics and curators working in the field, such as Tate Curator Simon Baker and Olivier Richon, is edited by internationally acclaimed photographer Rut Blees Luxemburg and has been designed by a group of young designers from the RCA.
The book's impressive rosta of contributors includes: Simon Baker - arts writer and Tate's first Curator of Photography and International Art. Vanessa Boni - a curator living and working in London. Mike Sperlinger - freelance writer, editor and Assistant Director of Lux, London. Sperlinger has written for magazines and journals including frieze, Art Monthly, Radical Philosophy and Afterall. Olivier Richon - Professor of Photography at the Royal College of Art, London. Leslie Dick - author of two highly regarded novels, Dick's writing has appeared in various magazines and art catalogues. She was also a visiting lecturer in Women's Studies at Vassar College and a Mellon Fellow in Arts Criticism at CalArts. Author Rut Blees Luxemburg is an internationally renowned photographer, Tutor at the Royal College of Art and has previously published Commonsensual: The Works of Rut Blees Luxemburg with Black Dog Publishing.
