Young kids will develop a sense of pride when they read this board book that follows a girl and her two dads as they prepare to walk in a Pride parade.
Pride is believing.
You are enough exactly as you are.
A little girl and her two dads discover the true meaning of Pride as they prepare their colorful flower crowns for their local Pride parade. When her preparations don’t go according to plan, the dads remind their daughter that it’s okay to make mistakes. They show her kindness and love, and that being happy with who you are is the most important part of Pride.

Dano Moreno started writing for kids when he became a father. When not writing, he works as a public health advocate and enjoys time with his husband and son in Portland, Oregon. He is also the author of Our Wish for You and Hope for Ryan White. Nakul P. is a UK-based illustrator who graduated in Illustration at Birmingham City University. He is always looking to capture the wonder and awe children see in the world. Magical objects, giant animals, and tiny worlds fuel his favorite kinds of stories. Nakul’s work is built upon observations of the way light shines through the world. He has dedicated much time to exploring how to tell great stories using light for picture books, animation, and performance.
